Batts 1 Star Success
We’re delighted to share that Krit, one of our dedicated young players from Stanmore Table Tennis Club, achieved a brilliant result at the Batts 1 Star Tournament on 8th September 2025, held at Batts Table Tennis Club in Harlow, Essex.
Krit was crowned Band 2 Champion, beating a strong field of players, including a hard-fought final victory against Grace Wang. It was an impressive run throughout the day, marked by sharp attacking play, mental focus, and great determination.
Over the course of the event, Krit secured victories against a range of quality opponents, including Eva Aguirre, Emma Pierron, Cooper Hill, Isaac Freeman, Grace Wang, Maxwell Mackowiak, and Harrison Warner. Each match offered a new challenge, but Krit showed his versatility and competitive mindset from the very first serve to the last.
One of the highlights of Krit’s game is his ability to stay calm in high-pressure moments. Whether facing long rallies or trying to close out tight sets, he consistently maintained focus and executed his strategies effectively. His strong footwork and well-timed attacking shots gave him the edge in several close matches, and his final performance was one of his most polished to date.
This tournament win is a significant step in Krit’s development and a fantastic reward for the hard work he’s been putting in both in training and in league matches. The Batts 1* events are always competitive, drawing players from all over the region, so to win Band 2 is no small feat.
Well done, Krit — you’ve made everyone at Stanmore Table Tennis Club proud! We look forward to seeing you continue this momentum and push on to even more success this season.
