Daniyal is picked to represent england at primary schools

Stanmore Table Tennis Club is proud to announce that Daniyal Janmohamed has been selected to represent England at the Primary Schools International, one of the UK’s most prestigious school-level table tennis events.

Daniyal will compete as one of four boys in the England team, facing Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Jersey and Guernsey at the Sport Scotland National Sports Training Centre in Inverclyde, Largs, from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 April 2026.

This outstanding achievement reflects Daniyal’s dedication and hard work, as well as the expert guidance of Head Coach Joel Fernandes, who has coached him since he joined Stanmore in March 2023 as a complete beginner. Reaching England selection in under three years is a remarkable milestone.

The club would also like to thank Chairman Barry for his continued support, and Daniyal’s family for their unwavering commitment throughout his journey.

Congratulations to Daniyal, and best of luck to him and the England team — the entire Stanmore Table Tennis Club community will be cheering them on with pride.
