Well done to Stanmore C who won the Elvin Junior Plate in the Wembley & Harrow League competition with an excellent victory over Oshwal B in the final.

Facing higher division opposition, with Oshwal B competing in Division 3 and Stanmore C in Division 5, this was a fantastic achievement. Stanmore produced a determined and mature performance to overcome the challenge and secure a well deserved win.

Daniyal, Krit and Adi represented the team in the final and all delivered outstanding performances. The composure and confidence shown, particularly by the younger players, was impressive and reflected the progress being made across the group.

This result highlights the strength and development within the squad, as well as the ability of the players to rise to the occasion against strong opposition.

This success also reflects the work of Stanmore head coach, Joel Fernandez, in developing the players and supporting the teams.
