We’re delighted to share that our Stanmore B team finished as runners-up in Division 4 of the Wembley & Harrow League this season! It was a brilliant team performance from start to finish, and we’re incredibly proud of the effort, teamwork, and determination shown by every player involved.

The team featured a fantastic line-up: Vipan, Rishi, Jun, Aaron, Shiromi, Bhavesh, Frankie, Rahul, Dev, Maahi and Arjun. Together, they competed week after week with great consistency, helping Stanmore B secure a well-deserved second place in a highly competitive division.

Two players who stood out over the course of the season were Vipan and Rishi. Vipan played a total of 33 matches and achieved a superb win rate of 93.94%, while Rishi, at just 15 years old, won 30 matches with a 90% win rate. Both players were recognised for their outstanding contributions by earning six Man of the Match awards each — a testament to their impact throughout the campaign.

That said, this success was built on much more than just individual brilliance. The team as a whole pulled together, supporting one another both on and off the table. Every player made a meaningful contribution, and the spirit within the squad was something we’re extremely proud of.
