Harrow & Wembley League Success
We’re delighted to share some fantastic results from the Harrow & Wembley Table Tennis League, where Stanmore Table Tennis Club once again showed its depth and quality across both youth and senior competitions.
In the Olympus Youth Shield, which is a prestigious Under 19s event, our team of Josh and Sayan delivered an excellent performance to win the title. Both players showed their usual blend of skill, composure and tactical intelligence to navigate a challenging draw. The Olympus Youth Shield brings together some of the best young players from across the league, and to come out on top is a huge credit to both players and their training. Josh and Sayan have had strong seasons individually, but to join forces and bring home silverware for the club is a proud moment.
Alongside this, we also achieved success in the Wembley and Harrow Division 6, where our team finished as runners-up. This team included Raman, Raahul, Aaron, and Sayan, and their commitment throughout the season was commendable. Week in, week out, the team turned up, competed hard and supported each other, and finishing second in the division is a brilliant reflection of their collective effort.
Sayan deserves an extra mention for being part of both successful teams – showcasing his consistency across different formats and age groups.
As a club, we’re incredibly proud of what our players continue to achieve in the local league scene. These competitions are not just about trophies – they’re also about learning, growing under pressure, and playing for something bigger than yourself. We’re building a strong culture at Stanmore TTC, and results like these show that we’re heading in the right direction.
Well done to all the players involved – keep working hard and representing Stanmore with pride.
