We’re proud to celebrate an incredible 1–2 finish for Stanmore Table Tennis Club at the Hertfordshire Schools Table Tennis Event, held at Batts Table Tennis Club on 9th February 2025.

A huge well done to Shayan, who took 1st place, and Raman, who finished a close 2nd, in the highly competitive Under 19s category. Both players put in exceptional performances across the day and fully deserved their places at the top of the podium.

Shayan was in top form throughout the event, displaying sharp movement, excellent control and strong attacking play. His consistency and tactical discipline helped him work his way through the group stages and knockout rounds with confidence. In the final, he remained calm under pressure and delivered a composed and clinical performance to secure the title.

Raman also had a fantastic tournament. He battled through a tough draw with impressive focus and determination, producing some exciting rallies along the way. His second-place finish reflects the hard work he has been putting in all season, and his progression over recent months has been brilliant to watch.

To have two Stanmore players finish 1st and 2nd in such a strong Under 19s field is a real achievement for the club. It highlights not just the individual talent of both players, but also the supportive and competitive environment we strive to build at Stanmore.
