London Academy Success For Trio
A huge congratulations to Sayan, Maahi, and Josh from Stanmore Table Tennis Club for finishing on the podium in their respective age categories at a recent high-level tournament. All three players put in fantastic performances and showed grit, consistency, and real quality across their matches.
In the Under 15s Girls, Maahi continued her excellent run of form by finishing as Runner-Up, adding another medal to her growing list of achievements this season. She showed great maturity throughout the event, staying composed under pressure and making her way through some tight games to earn her place in the final. Maahi has been one of our standout players this year, and her consistency at this level is a real credit to her hard work in training.
Sayan, competing in the Under 15s Boys, had an equally strong tournament, finishing in 3rd place after a series of well-fought matches. Sayan has been training hard and this medal is well-deserved recognition of his progression. He showed tactical intelligence and mental strength – something we’ve seen developing in him over the past few months at Stanmore. He continues to grow as a competitor and has become one of our key junior players.
In the Under 17s Boys, Josh also secured a 3rd place finish – another brilliant result at a tough age category. Josh continues to build on his impressive season, adding yet another medal to his name. His determination and ability to stay calm in high-pressure moments has become a real strength, and he’s become a role model for many of our younger players.
We’re incredibly proud of all three athletes. To have three Stanmore TTC players medal in the same tournament is a big moment for the club and a reflection of the effort put in by players and coaches alike.
Well done, Sayan, Maahi, and Josh – great performances, great results, and great ambassadors for Stanmore Table Tennis Club.
