Middlesex Cadets Division 1 Victory
A huge well done to Frankie and Maahi from Stanmore Table Tennis Club, who played a key role in helping their team win the Middlesex County Division 1 Cadets event, held on 18th January 2025.
The competition saw two Middlesex teams entered into the event, with Frankie and Maahi selected to play for Middlesex 3. Facing strong opposition from other county teams, the players needed to be sharp, consistent, and resilient across multiple matches — and they certainly delivered.
Throughout the day, Frankie and Maahi played with great energy and discipline. They both contributed important wins at crucial moments, showing the kind of form and focus that we’ve come to expect from them during club matches. Their performances helped Middlesex 3 maintain momentum across the rounds and ultimately finish top of the table, winning the overall event.
Representing your county is a big honour, and winning as part of a county side adds something extra special to the achievement. Frankie and Maahi have both worked incredibly hard this season, and this result is a fitting reward for their efforts on and off the table.
It’s always brilliant to see Stanmore players making an impact at county level, especially in a competitive Division 1 setting. These experiences not only help our players grow technically and tactically, but also give them a chance to compete alongside new teammates and develop confidence in wider match environments.
Congratulations to Frankie, Maahi and the entire Middlesex 3 squad for a brilliant performance and a well-earned title. We're proud to see our club so well represented at county level — and even prouder to see you on the winning team!
