National Cadet League Success
A huge congratulations to Sayan, Aaron, and Rohan, who finished 1st in Division 1 at the London Academy National Cadet League.
Competing at one of the most competitive venues on the circuit, this Stanmore trio showed outstanding teamwork, composure, and consistency throughout the day. To come out as winners in Division 1, especially at a venue like London Academy, is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the players' preparation, focus, and belief.
Sayan led with experience and determination, producing some impressive performances across the day. His matchplay and tactical awareness were key in some of the closer encounters. Aaron brought his trademark intensity to the table, fighting for every point and turning tight games in Stanmore’s favour with his all-round game. Rohan, who continues to grow in confidence, also played a crucial role with some well-earned victories that gave the team real momentum as the day progressed.
What stood out most was how well the team supported one another throughout the event. Whether it was cheering each other on from the bench, regrouping between matches, or keeping their energy high, the trio worked as a unit — and it paid off.
Division 1 at London Academy is never easy. The standard is high, and every team is capable of pulling off upsets. But our Stanmore boys rose to the occasion and delivered when it mattered most. Every match required focus, and they didn’t let their level drop across the whole day.
This result is a brilliant reflection of their hard work in training and their desire to represent Stanmore Table Tennis Club with pride.
Well done to Sayan, Aaron and Rohan – Division 1 winners!
