National Cadet League Success Day 2

Stanmore Table Tennis Club was back in action at Westminster School for the second round of the National Cadet League, once again competing across the top divisions and showcasing the depth and quality within the club.
Stanmore had 18 players competing across the top six divisions. Despite several key absences including Krit and Daniyal (Stanmore A), Marley and Riki (Stanmore B), Reiyen (Stanmore C) and Giyaan (Stanmore D), the teams remained strong and produced another impressive set of performances. Team line-ups for the day were as follows:
Despite the absences, all teams performed to a consistently high level throughout the day.
Stanmore A were outstanding in Division 1, finishing as overall winners and remaining unbeaten. They will retain their place in Division 1 for the final two rounds.
Stanmore B also produced an excellent performance in Division 1, maintaining their position with Stanmore A in the top division for the remainder of the competition.
In Division 3, Stanmore C topped the division and earned promotion to Division 2 for the final two rounds. Stanmore D also put in a strong showing, finishing third and securing their place in Division 3.
Stanmore E battled hard in Division 4 and will remain in the division for the final two weeks, while Stanmore F enjoyed a fantastic day in Division 5, winning the division and earning promotion to Division 4.

Overall, it was another exceptional team performance, particularly impressive given the absence of several key players. The results once again highlight the remarkable depth within the squad and reflect the high-quality coaching provided across the club under the leadership of head coach Joel Fernandes.
