Both Daniyal and Aditya took part in the Under-11 and Under-13 age categories at the Limpsfield 1-Star Tournament, producing some excellent performances across the day.

Daniyal competed in the Under-11s event and delivered an outstanding performance from start to finish. In his initial group stage he won all three of his matches, showing consistency and confidence to top the group and earn his place in Band 1.

In Band 1 Daniyal faced three of the top players in the tournament. He continued to play some fantastic table tennis, winning all of his matches — including an impressive 3-0 victory over top-rated player Raphael Church.

Thanks to his superb performances across every round, Daniyal finished in first place, taking home a well-deserved trophy.

Well done Daniyal on yet another Under-11s title and another fantastic result — keep up the great work!

In the afternoon, Aditya competed in the Under-13s event. He won all of his group matches, including a tough battle against the top seed in his group, to progress through to Band 1.

In Band 1 Aditya fought hard against very strong opposition. Although he lost all his matches at this stage, he showed great determination and competed brilliantly against some of the very best Under-13 players.
