Women's british league success for shiromi

A huge congratulations to Shiromi, whose team TJ’s Super Women have achieved promotion from Division 5 to Division 4 in the Women’s British Clubs League.

Shiromi has gone from strength to strength over the course of the season, finishing with an impressive 12 wins from 16 matches, giving her a 75% win rate. Even more encouraging was how her performances continued to improve as the season progressed, showing real confidence, consistency, and resilience when it mattered most.

The British Clubs Leagues are Table Tennis England’s premier club competitions, bringing together teams from across the Home Nations, including England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, and the Isle of Man. The 2025/26 Women’s British Clubs League has been one of the biggest yet, featuring a record 44 teams across seven divisions, underlining just how competitive the standard is.

Shiromi’s promotion is a testament to her hard work and dedication in training at Stanmore, where she has been one of our most improved players in recent months. Her commitment on and off the table is clearly paying dividends.

Well done, Shiromi — keep smiling, keep shining. We’re excited to see you take on the challenge of Division 4, and we can’t wait to follow your progress in the season ahead!

Joel from Stanmore Table Tennis club has been delivering regular coaching at Park High School and this has led to a number of students from Park High being involved with the club.
