Stanmore Table Tennis Club is thrilled to celebrate another fantastic triumph on the tournament circuit, with one of our top young talents, Aditya, claiming the prestigious Band 2 title at the Ellenborough 1-Star!

Held on Sunday, 26th July, the competitive Ellenborough Under-13 1-Star tournament delivered a stern test of skill and endurance. The format kicked off with morning round-robin groups of six, where players battled it out across high-pressure matches before progressing into separate banded knockout tournaments (Band 1, 2, or 3) based on their group standings.

At just 13 years old, Aditya showed fantastic focus and tactical maturity throughout the day. After navigating a challenging group stage, he carried his momentum straight into the Band 2 knockout rounds. Displaying exceptional composure, determination, and high-level table tennis, Aditya powered through the competition to capture the gold trophy and cement his status as one of our brightest emerging prospects.
