National Recognition for Stanmore TTC

Stanmore Table Tennis Club is proud to share that it has been recognised as the second best club in England by Table Tennis England at the Pride of Table Tennis Awards 2026.

This recognition reflects years of hard work and commitment from everyone involved in the club.

At the heart of this success is Joel Fernandes, the club’s Head Coach. Joel has played a key role in developing players of all levels achieving lots of success.

Alongside him is Barry Stacey, who leads the club and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Under his leadership, the club has built a strong, welcoming environment where players can thrive and compete at a high level.

This achievement is also down to the players, parents, and wider community who contribute week in, week out.

To be recognised nationally in this way is something everyone connected to Stanmore TTC can be incredibly proud of — and a sign that the club continues to grow from strength to strength.

Joel from Stanmore Table Tennis club has been delivering regular coaching at Park High School and this has led to a number of students from Park High being involved with the club. Our son (now 12 years of age) has been going for just under a year and half to this club after coming from another where he was not really progressing.
