National Schools Finals Success 2026

Stanmore Table Tennis Club is incredibly proud of Daniyal, Riki and Aditya, who all competed at the Butterfly Schools Team Finals held at WV Active Wolverhampton.
Daniyal and Riki represented Haberdashers’ Boys’ School in the Under 11 category. Playing as part of a strong team of four, they showed great skill and determination throughout the day. The team progressed confidently through both the quarter-finals and semi-finals to reach the final against London Academy. In a closely fought match, they gave everything but narrowly lost 5–3, finishing as national runners-up — an outstanding achievement.
Aditya also represented Habs Boys in the Under 13 category and enjoyed a fantastic tournament. He played a key role in helping his team secure victories in both the quarter-finals and semi-finals to reach the final against St Paul’s. Despite a strong performance, they were edged out 5–3, also securing a well-deserved runners-up position.
To have three Stanmore players competing — and excelling — at a national finals event is something the club is extremely proud of. Their performances reflect not only their hard work and progress, but also their commitment and attitude.
All three boys have developed brilliantly since joining Stanmore TTC and continue to be a real credit to the club. This is a huge milestone in their journey, and there is no doubt there is much more to come from all of them.
