Stanmore Table Tennis Club is delighted to celebrate a fantastic start to the new season, as Neev reached the final of the Under-15 Boys' Open at the Birmingham Table Tennis Academy Cadet and Junior 1* tournament!

The event took place on 27 September at Nishkam High School in Birmingham, with Neev competing in the morning session. It was played as a group event rather than a knockout, so every player faced the rest of their group. Neev won five of his six matches, with his only defeat coming against the top seed in the group. That match effectively decided who would take the top spot, and Neev finished second.

What makes the result even more impressive is that Neev had spent the whole summer playing cricket and only recently returned to the table. Coming back at a tournament and winning five from six against a strong group is a remarkable achievement, and a real testament to his natural talent and competitive spirit. He took home the well-deserved runners-up trophy, a great way to kick off the season.

Everyone at Stanmore Table Tennis Club is incredibly proud of Neev's performance and attitude. We look forward to seeing what he can achieve over the coming months. Well done, Neev!
