Stanmore Table Tennis Club is celebrating yet another remarkable milestone as our newest rising star, Vihaan Mittal, claimed the coveted Band 1 title at the Under-13 BATTS 2* tournament!

Having only joined the club a few months ago, Vihaan has already proven himself to be a true warrior on the table. This victory marks a significant progression in his young competitive career. For our number one seed, this was only his second tournament appearance at BATTS. His debut back in June of last year saw him step up into the Under-15 event at just 11 years old, where he finished as group runner-up and reached Band 1—falling only to the event's top seed and eventual winner.

Since then, Vihaan has dedicated himself to packing in valuable tournament experience, and it has certainly paid off. Showing immense dominance throughout the entire event, he powered through his matches with relentless focus and skill, dropping just a single set the entire day. That lone set came against a tough opponent, Pranav Panchamukhi of Ellenborough, whom Vihaan ultimately overcame in a thrilling Band 1 final.
